- Afterward, put your internal faceplates on the new latch. Now, fasten the bolts into the holes you drilled earlier.
- Similarly, take the second inner faceplates of the other doorknob and repeat the same procedure.
- Now put your long connecting bolt and tighten it through the holes of the internal faceplate. It is used to hold both internal faceplates in their place.1
- Firmly tight all the bolts you used in internal faceplates.
- Now put your doorknob back in its place and tighten their screws.
